Cosmology

Mostly supported is theory of Great Wheel. This theory claims that Material Plane is centered in the universe. 

Material Plane

Material Plane is plane of balance. This is nearest to Earth. You can find almost any race here as races from other planes are travelling through or to this plane. 

Material Plane has two reflections, called Feywild and Shadowfell. Both are something like copies of Material Plane, but twisted in specific way.

Feywild

Also known as Faerie Plane, it is plane of emotions and feelings. Emotions are stronger, Smells are more intense, colors more vivid, sounds clearer. But shadows are darker and impulses harder to control.

It contains some of the most beautiful locations in the mutliverse, but it is no safe place. There dwell dark and powerful beings that wont think twice to murder a traveller.

Leaving Feywild can cause time anomaly.

Shadowfell

Also known as Plane of Shadow. This is counterpart of Feywild. It is bleak, desolate plate, full of decay and death.

There is a force, named Dark Powers. It is unknown mystical power it's power is not fully known, but it can pull entire regions to the Shadowfell and corrupt individuals. This force is also responsible for creating Dread Planes or Domains of Dread, where the most extreme evil individual serve as sustenance.

Ethereal Plane

There is no gravity and everyone can move by thinking about moving. Also you can exist on two planes at the time, if one of them is Ethereal plane.

You can travel into Elemental planes, Shadowfell or Feywild through Ethereal Plane. It is also possible to find Demiplanes, but it is highly unlikely.

Border Ethereal

This is the border of Ethereal Plane, between Deep Ethereal and other plane. You can see slightly into the other plane, but no communication is possible.

Deep Ethereal

This place contains substance called Protomatter, it looks like lava-lamp. If protomatter reaches critical size, it can create Demiplane. Protomatter can also be used by powerful mages to create Demiplanes for themself.

However Demiplanes tend to collapse to themself, breaking appart again to become Protomatter or to merge with Inner Plane or Material Plane.

Elemental Planes

There are four main elemental planes - Air, Water, Fire, Earth.

Then there are four para-elemental planes - Ice, March, Smoke, Magma.

And lastly, there is 6 quasi-elemental planes - Lightning, Vaccum, Ash, Mineral, Steam, Ouze.

Each of this planes contains elementals of their specific elements and creatures of power. It is legend that whenever you slay a large dragon, you gain access to its plane. However, not always these teleports have to close themself, causing troubles.

These planes also contains one of the best cities for adventurers as it has most powerful magic items to trade, due to its gateway to Outer Planes.

Elemental Chaos

At the far reaches of elemental planes, where elements dissolve into a single mix of colliding energies. This plane is rules by primordials and it is direct opposite of Astral Sea. Primordials are opposite of gods.

Outer Planes

There is 18 outer planes, each one representing one alignment.

There are divided into Upper Planes ( Good alignment planes ) and Lower Planes ( Evil alignment planes ).

Upper Planes are - Mechanus, Arcadia, Mount Celestial, Bytopia, Elysium, The Beastlands, Arborea, Ysgard

Lower Planes are - Limbo, Pandemonium, Abyss, Carceri, Hades, Gehenna, Nine Hells, Archeron.
